<\/a><\/p>\nTransformers are SUPER cool!\u00a0 We paid $5 for everything and value it at $78.\u00a0 An EXCELLENT start to the day!<\/p>\n
The next sale we purchased stuff at wasn\u2019t open yet, but the guy said to come back in 10 minutes.\u00a0 Meanwhile we picked these up from another local sale:<\/p>\n
We paid $6 and valued everything at $50.\u00a0 We\u2019re cooking with grease now!<\/p>\n We headed back to the other sale and some guy was there going through the video games!\u00a0 Goodness!\u00a0 Thankfully he decided it wasn\u2019t worth it and left everything.\u00a0 Phew!\u00a0 Here\u2019s what we got:<\/p>\n Paid $100 for everything, but value it at $320 so still pretty good.\u00a0 These big lots always get scary expensive but you have to keep your eyes on the prize!\u00a0 Snacks!<\/p>\n A nice little small pick up next:<\/p>\n Paid $.50 and valued at $15<\/p>\n This next pick up proves that persistence is good:<\/p>\n An original Game Boy!\u00a0 We\u2019ve never found one of those before.\u00a0 The lady that sold it to us and her whole family kept telling us they didn\u2019t have anything.\u00a0 We were looking at everything else and talking with them and suddenly she decided she did have something.\u00a0 Ha!\u00a0 That\u2019s funny!<\/p>\n Paid $5 and valued at $40.<\/p>\n After this sale Patrick and I went for a walk.\u00a0 It\u2019s always good to take breaks from your fun for other fun.\u00a0 Haha!<\/p>\n Some small next:<\/p>\n Paid $1 and valued at $20<\/p>\n Paid $2 and valued at $10<\/p>\n The lady that sold us this went through some big drama to call her husband and ask about video games.\u00a0 She even went and dug around inside for like 5 minutes before coming out with 2 silly sports games.\u00a0 Ha!\u00a0 Everyone has those!\u00a0 We ended up buying this from her though:<\/p>\n Goofy!\u00a0 That could be my nickname probably.\u00a0 Paid $5 and valued at $25.<\/p>\n Even though it was Patrick\u2019s birthday, he still bought this for Sharron:<\/p>\n How nice!<\/p>\n We also got this little hand held game for us!<\/p>\n Paid $35 and valued at $45.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t really figure out the real value of the jewelry box though since that\u2019s for us!<\/p>\n Our last pick up of the day was this weight loss kit:<\/p>\n Paid $5 and valued at $60.<\/p>\n So our total for the day was $166.50 spent with about $375 in profit.\u00a0 Pretty good!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On his way into work the next Friday (6\/3), Patrick stopped at a sale, and wouldn\u2019t you know it, they had some games!<\/p>\n He paid a little more than usual for them, $40, but they\u2019re valued at $110 so it\u2019s still a win in my book!\u00a0 Go Patrick!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On Patrick\u2019s birthday, we made a couple of new friends (we usually do because we\u2019re AWESOME).\u00a0 They promised they would call us with some stuff in their basements or attics.\u00a0 Usually their kids decide they won\u2019t sell their stuff, but occasionally they do!\u00a0 Patrick stopped on the way home from work on 6\/8 at 2 places.<\/p>\n This first pick up wasn\u2019t games, but Patrick wanted them:<\/p>\n Coins!\u00a0 Disney!\u00a0 Patrick loves both so I think these are going into his collection.<\/p>\n Paid $20 and valued at $30.<\/p>\n Like I mentioned, sometimes we get some games.\u00a0 Here\u2019s an amazing find!<\/p>\n Paid $50 and valued at $390!\u00a0 A top 5 deal for sure!\u00a0 Back flip time people!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Saturday 6\/11 we were on a new week\u2019s adventure and out the door by 7:00!<\/p>\n Our first stop had advertised video games.\u00a0 They didn\u2019t have much, but here\u2019s what we got:<\/p>\n Not bad!\u00a0 Paid $5 and valued at $35.\u00a0 Not a bad start!<\/p>\n A few small items after our initial buy:<\/p>\n Paid $1 and valued at $30<\/p>\n Paid $2 and valued at $10<\/p>\n After this we headed to a large neighborhood sale that advertised 40 sales!\u00a0 Wow, that\u2019s a lot!<\/p>\n We hit ALL of them and found a few things, but it was slow going.\u00a0 We started out strong and found these:<\/p>\n Paid $3 and valued at $20.<\/p>\n About every 4 sales or so we\u2019d find something to buy.\u00a0 We got a little lucky with this one:<\/p>\n Our next pick up was something new we\u2019re trying this year:<\/p>\n We\u2019ve had some luck with little radios and decided to try a larger stereo boom box (Is that right?\u00a0 Does the box boom!?\u00a0 Yikes!).\u00a0 Paid $4 and think it\u2019s worth $50.<\/p>\n Our next pick up was kind of fun as we had to really negotiate to get them to bring it out:<\/p>\n She didn\u2019t want to sell it without the cords.\u00a0 Haha!\u00a0 Silly lady, we have extra!\u00a0 Paid $10 and valued at $40.<\/p>\n Across the street we found this fun little hand held:<\/p>\n We\u2019ve gotten a bunch of these this year!\u00a0 Paid $1 and valued at $10.\u00a0 If every sale had something for $1 that was worth $10 we\u2019d be rich!<\/p>\n Another nice $1 purchase:<\/p>\n Paid $1 and valued at $12.\u00a0 Bang!\u00a0 Just kidding, it\u2019s only a game.<\/p>\n Patrick really wanted to buy these for Sharron:<\/p>\n He paid $5 for them and the value is priceless.\u00a0 Sharron loves them!<\/p>\n Here\u2019s our one oops for the week.<\/p>\n We asked if they had games and the brought out a stack after looking for like 10 minutes.\u00a0 We felt bad that there weren\u2019t any we wanted so decided to just buy one anyway.\u00a0 Paid $1 and valued at $1.\u00a0 Oh well!<\/p>\n Our final pick up of the day was pretty late in the morning.\u00a0 When it gets late you really have to dig through some of the unexplored boxes.\u00a0 Here\u2019s what we found:<\/p>\n The mini disc cases are for us, but the brand new disks were actually worth buying.\u00a0 Since it was late in the morning, we looked them up online first before buying them.\u00a0 Paid $3 and valued at $40.\u00a0 A good way to end the day!<\/p>\n Our total for 6\/11:<\/p>\n Spent:\u00a0 $46<\/p>\n Expected Profit:\u00a0 $283<\/p>\n Smaller week than
